2019 World Girl Child Day: Female Students In Osun More Determined To Fight For Their Rights In Spite Of All Odds – SEE PHOTOS

The 2019 World Girl Child in Osogbo, the capital of the State of Osun with rapt attention from hundreds of students of St. Charles, Prime College while the grand finale was held at Fakunle Unity High School all in Osogbo.

The convener of the lecture, Queen Fisayo Aderemi has this to say on the successful campaign against abuse of girl child, “our conversations with hundreds of girls in all the three schools our team visited has remarkably left me with no other impression than that girls our are unscripted and unstoppable.”

“With the YHRI Souvenirs, educating them about their fundamental Human Rights and teaching them how to speakout on abuses because right implies a claim was what Babawale of OneForAll Initiative did.”

“In a friendly and emotional interactive session, Queen Fisayo dissected sexual and gender based violence as a cogent case study.”

“It’s was indeed an encounter of motivation with young girls as the NYCN Osun Chairman, Ismaeel took over the counseling session in the local dialect for good relational talks.”

Friday, 11th of October was indeed  a superb outing at Fakunle-Unity High School, Poweline Area, Osogbo as we commemorate the International Day of the Girl Child in a Grand Style. Speakers after Speakers spoke on various topical issues which include, What Are Human Rights .The Story of Human Tights, Sexual Abuse, Sexual Harassment. The teenagers were advised to speak out and they not allow anyone to intimidate them.
