If the El-zakizaki supporters could not get into the National Assembly, one now wonders how few thugs were able to enter into the Senate Chamber and took away the Maze without any challenge from the security agencies.
That was not all, the thugs abducted a serving Senator, Yayi Adeola right within the vicinity of the National Assembly.

Update On OAU S*x Scandal: Randy Lecturer on indefinite suspension

Nigeria, as I had earlier written is, “a nation of absurdities, the more you look the less you see, the more you are confused.”
One wonders how hoodlums were able to come into the Chamber and took away the maze in the presence of our security agents.

What a country! Nigeria has now become a country of one day one shameful and embarrassing issue.
If the thugs had gone into the National Assembly with arms and ammunitions they would have succeeded in eliminating all our distinguished Senators, just like that!

Where do we go from here?

The Senator representing Lagos West, Senator Yayi Adeola was kidnapped at the National Assembly. He was smart enough to have jumped out of the vehicle while in motion and sprained his ankle in the process.

It is, however, not clear if the kidnappers were the same gang that broke into the Senate and stole the mace.

‘Sack service chief’
According to an aide of the lawmaker, who spoke anonymously, Yayi’s attempted abduction may not be unconnected to his recent call for the sack of all Service Chiefs.

The lawmaker had on Tuesday asked President Muhammadu Buhari to relieve heads of all security agencies over the incessant killings across the country.
The aide said, “On Tuesday at the floor of the plenary, senator Yayi Adeola, while lending his voice to the killings in Nasarawa, called for the sacking of all service chiefs and heads of security agencies.
“Today, before the mace was seized, Senator Yayi Adeola was actually kidnapped (Not attempted kidnap by unknown gunmen) at the national assembly right in front of the white house.

“They took him all the way to the house of reps – they were trying to escape through the villa gate. It was at that point he had to maneuver and jumped out of the vehicle. As I speak to you, he still has a sprain on his leg.”

The Senator later recalled his narrow escape in a series of tweets on Wednesday.

Thank God I escaped kidnapping by unknown thugs who invaded the @nassnigeria today

I was pushed into one of the SUVs parked in front of the White House wing and attempt was made to drive me out of National Assembly Complex

I escaped by forcing the car door open and jumping out.
