A LIE FROM THE PIT OF HELL, SENATOR HUSSEIN DID NOT STEP DOWN – APC CHIEFTAIN.

Spread the love

In a swift reaction to the news in the social media this afternoon that Senator Hussein has stepped down, APC Chieftain, Alhaji Moshood Adeoti described this news as the fabrications from the PDP camp. It is one of those tissue of lies from the pit of  hell of PDP.

Our candidate, Senator Mudasiru Hussein is still very much in the race for the Senatorial elections tomorrow, Saturday July 8, 2017.

He enjoined the general public in the Ede West Senatorial District to come out enmasse tomorrow and vote for the candidate of their choice.

A call to the Chairman of Oodua FM (90.9fm), Hon. Rotimi Makinde, he said the news was fabricated by PDP to show they are already suffering from “defeatist syndrome.”

The news should be disregarded in its entirety, he said.

The FALSE NEWS as allegedly released by the PDP machineries:

“SUDDEN TWIST: SENATOR MUDASIR HUSSEIN REPORTEDLY STEPS DOWN

In a sudden and unexpected twist and turn of event, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the July 8 Senatorial Re-Run Election has pulled out of the race; we can fairly report. This was the resolution at the campaign review meeting of the APC, held midnight Thursday in the residence of the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Najeem Salam.

Our findings revealed that his shocking and disappointing withdrawal could have been due to one of two reasons. One, the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola had earlier wanted to substitute Hussein’s name for that of former House of Representatives Speaker, Hon. Olubunmi Etteh. This was due to the fact that Hussein was deemed to be unpopular in the Senatorial District, even after serving a term at the Senate.

Two, the turnouts at the rallies and consultations of the All Progressives Congress left the party confused as to whether to go on prosecuting the election, or ask its candidate to withdraw, to avoid waste of resources which will become unavoidable if he were to contest.

Whatever reason(s) informed his withdrawal however, it seems to us that the political calculation towards Saturday’s election in Osun West Senatorial District will now favour the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Ademola Adeleke.

We will keep bringing you updates on this surprising twist.”
