Despite economic challenges in Nigeria, governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun has embarked on massive road constructions and rehabilitations in the rural and urban areas in the state.

Some of the roads are nearing completion while others will be completed before the end of the year and early next year.
The roads include J4-GAO Road, Igele bridge which is part of the stretch road in Ogun Waterside Local Government Area, 14.7 km Ijebu-Ode – Epe Road, Interchange Flyover and many others.

“The reconstruction of the J4-GAO Road is in its final stage, as asphalt is now being laid by engineers, including on the completed Igele Bridge which is part of the long stretch of the road in Ogun Waterside LGA.
“Although motorists are already using the road in its near-completion stage, the experience will be brand new, when engineers leave site and the road is fully open.

Ogun Waterside is just one out of all the LGAs where we are carrying out different road projects with a lot more already identified during the town hall meeting series held for the three senatorial district.
Today when I disclosed this, I was on an on-the-spot assessment of the ongoing project where I explained that the recently awarded Interchange Flyover project was targeted towards further averting collisions on the intersection involving Ijebu-Ode and Sagamu-Ore.

Qq This project is rated viable, because it will, in addition to bringing in more commerce, better connect Ogun State to the Eastern part of the Nation and ensure safer travel and durability of road.
