The governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu recently deiiverred a Statewide Broadcast in the state on the prevailing security situations.

Akeredolu mentioned in his broadcast the strange faces coming to the state and how Amotekun arrested 42 and 137 strangers that have already been deported to their states of origin.
In the broadcast monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE, http://www.sojworlnews.com,
he warned cultists to desist from their nefarious activities in the state and anyone caught would face the full wrath of the law.

The governor debunked the news that the Nigerian Army Barracks in Okitipupa is harbouring 3,000 Fulanis,
“The recent issue which dominated the social media at the media space of some Fulani herdsmen being trained at the Army Barracks, Okitipupa has been investigated by the security agencies and found to be false.”

” We confirmed on good authority to have good people, there are no 3,000 Fulani men resident in Army Barracks in Okitipupa. It is therefore preposterous for anyone to presume that the information was true. The information is totally false and I call on all our people to disregard it.”
“I wish to report that Amotekun Corps also evacuated 137 persons who recently invaded Elegbeka Forestry Reserve along Owo-Ifon Road who were unable to give any satisfactory explanation as to why they were occupying the Forestry in spite of the State Government directive. They have since been escorted out of the state to their state of origin.”
“Our people will recall it was on this the Olufon of Ifon, the late Oba Israel Adegoke Adeusi, First Class Traditional Ruler was brutally murdered by suspected kidnappers last November 2019”
