Speaking, Hon. Adekunle Akinlade, the APM former gubernatorial candidate,, “APM was used as a purpose vehicle for us to realise our ambition because of the injustice meted to us by the national leadership of the APC.”
Akinlade further said, “we had resolved before hand that in the event of our victory at the polls, we were to go back to APC because we are the real landlords. This was the assurance we gave President Muhammadu Buhari’.
Meanwhile, Amosun, the immediate past governor of Ogun, appreciated the spirit of the APM members; saying, “you are the real owner of Ogun APC and as such you are not coming to join APC but to continue your activities as landlords.”
