Amotekun Parades Two Suspects For Stealing Goats in Osogbo (SEE VIDEO)

Operatives of the Osun State Security Network, otherwise known as the Amotekun Corps, have arrested two suspect for stealing Goats across Osun State.

The Suspects identified as Oladipupo Segun, M, 40 and Wale Samuel, M, 40, who are residents of Ketu Alapeere of Lagos State, confessed to have committed the offence of stealing goats by the roadside as early as 5am.

They also confessed of being guilty of conspiracy and stealing of eighteen live goats from different locations along Osogbo-Ode-Omu before their arrest in Ibadan.

The recovered exhibits includes,  One MPV Mazda Vehicle with REG NO: EPE 857 HM, 18 live goats, the sum of fifty-two thousand, two hundred and fifty naira and other valuable items.

However, the Osun State Commander of Amotekun, Comrade Amitolu Shittu who disclosed this to journalists in Osogbo on Tuesday September 6, 2022 at the Amotekun Office located at Isale Osun, Osogbo. 

Addressing the Journalists, he urged the general public to be very vigilant with their lives, as many unthinkable things are happening in our society.

He therefore appeal passionately to the general public to work with Amotekun, to support them, appreciate their commitment as it concern the arrest of culprit disturbing the peace of our society, not to engage in blackmail.

He also appreciate those who have been supporting and encouraging them. He noted that the Operative do not take bribe despite the economic situation of the country to free those that committed crime.

Amitolu also added that the public should desist from interfering in their operation because some people are fond of begging the Amotekun Operatives to release the suspects

He also appeal to the lawyers who have suspects in their custody to stop supporting or standing in for suspect and to allow the Amotekun Operatives to carry out their Job.
