ANOTHER Monarch in Oyo State joins his ancestors

Another prominet traditional ruler in Oyo state, Oba Dr Elijah Olaniyi Popoola,Oniijeru of Ijeru Kingdom in Ogbomoso South Local Government is dead

He was aged 85.

Oba Elijah died peacefully in his sleep on friday morning during a brief illness

He became king in, 2008

Confirming this report one of his son Moshood told Newsmen that Baba woke up on Friday morning, though he has been ill for a while but he woke on Friday morning, he said they spoke and few minutes after he left his palace but on getting to his house, he received a call that Baba has joined the saints.

”Though it is painful,but who are we to querry God, who give and take at will, May God grant him eternal rest” Moshood Said.
