The Chairman of APC in Osun State, Prince Adegboyega Famodun has described Honourable Amere Gafar Akintayo as a true party man who deserved to be honoured and qualified to clinch the ticket of the party.

Prince Famodun was speaking at the flag-off Campaign of Itesiwaju Osun of Honourable Amere.
The Party Chairman, Prince Famodun said Honourable Amere has been found to be a committed, worthy and loyal party man to the cause of the Party and that of the APC led government in the State of Osun.
He said that it would gladden his heart if such personality could occupy governorship seat in the State.
Prince Famodun said that although, he didn’t know Pa Salami Amere, the father of the Honourable, but what he heard about him was that of great and faithful man to the progressive matters and above all, the fighter (Agbekoya) for the emancipation of the downtrodden in the society.
The APC Chairman therefore enjoined Honourable Amere to continue to emulate the good deeds of his late father to continue the good legacy of the Family.
He prayed for his success in his bid to govern the State of Osun.
Earlier, Honourable Amere had enumerated his laudable achievements for his people at Iwo Federal Constituency, who are being represented at Abuja by him.
He said that all his claims of provision of boreholes, solar lights and construction of gigantic forty classrooms School buildings in Iwo and Amere community in Olaoluwa Local Government in addition to Skill Acquisition Centre in Igege are verifiable by anybody to pay a visit to the sites.
Honourable Amere who stood along with his wife, Foluke, said that as an experienced and accomplished Accountant, it was his desire to build on the various legacy projects by the Aregbesola administration and embark on the new ones.
Honourable Amere eulogized the gigantic achievements of Aregbesola adding that he was convinced to do more for the state, if given the opportunity of governing the State.

Traditional Rulers, Party leaders, various professional groups, Market Women and men witnessed the occasion at the APC Headquarters in Osogbo.
