“This decisive action means all six of Nigeria’s geo-political zones now possess statutory development agencies, creating a uniform framework for addressing regional infrastructure and economic challenges” he added.

The South-West and South-South Development Commissions are expected to accelerate economic activities and infrastructural projects in their respective regions.

Their establishment follows President Tinubu’s earlier assent to similar commissions for the South-East and North-West, signaling a broad-based approach to regional empowerment.

As Nigeria continues on its path towards regional development and economic growth, the establishment of these commissions serves as a beacon of hope for a brighter future.
