ASIWAJU Political Movement (APM) Director-General, Comrade Madiba Monday Ledum has sent his congratulatory message to the Muslims on Eid-El-Fitr and celebrates mothers on Mothers Day.
Comrade Ledum in a message personally signed by him urged the Muslims to “uphold the values of peace, unity, and love.”
He described Eid-ul-Fitr as a time of thanksgiving, spiritual renewal, and reflection on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He urged Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu in prayers.
“As we celebrate this significant festival, let us continue to embrace the spirit of tolerance, unity, and coexistence, which are the pillars of a harmonious society. May this season bring renewed strength, prosperity, and blessings to all,” Comrade Ledum stated.

He reaffirmed the commitment of the Asiwaju Political Movement to supporting progressive governance and policies that will enhance the well-being of Nigerians.
As the World celebrates Mothers Day today, Comrade Ledum paid glowing tribute to mothers, recognizing their invaluable contributions to family, society, and nation-building.
In a heartfelt message, Comrade Ledum described mothers as the pillars of love, strength, and sacrifice, whose unwavering dedication shapes the foundation of a better future. He emphasized that the role of mothers goes beyond the home, as they continue to contribute immensely to the socio-economic and moral development of society.
“On this special occasion, I celebrate all mothers for their selfless love, resilience, and the immeasurable sacrifices they make daily. They are the first teachers, caregivers, and nurturers who instill values of discipline, kindness, and perseverance in their children,” he said.
Comrade Ledum also acknowledged the efforts of Nigerian women, particularly those who have played crucial roles in leadership, business, education, and governance, further strengthening the fabric of the nation.
He encouraged the government and stakeholders to continue to support policies that empower women and ensure that mothers are given the recognition and resources needed to thrive.
“As we celebrate today, let us also reflect on the need to create an environment where women and mothers can achieve their full potential. Their empowerment is a catalyst for a better and more prosperous society,” he added.
He prayed for all mothers, asking for God’s blessings, good health, and happiness in their lives while urging everyone to show appreciation for their sacrifices not just on Mother’s Day but every day.
