ASUU: Nigerian Students Protests At Lagos Airport Amid Tight Security

Students from the National Association of Nigerian Students(NANS)  have assembled near the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos to demonstrate against the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ prolonged strike action.

On Monday 19 September, 2022 the students assembled amidst a serious security presence.

As they chant songs of unity, they may be seen dancing.

Adegboye Olatununji, the South-West Coordinator of NANS, told Newsmen during a brief interview that security services had been sent to the location  but they were undaunted.

“They deployed massive security, but we remain unafraid. He assured reporters, “We’re there on standby”.  He said
