August 7, 2018 was a day never to be forgotten in Nigerian history. It was the day the operatives of the DSS took over the National Assembly without the knowledge of the acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo who acted in capacity as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari who was in London hospital for six months.
Osinbajo, in a popular message on his Facebook Page said the takeover of NASS was unlawful and unconstitutional. He immediately terminated the appointment of the Director of DSS, Mr. Lawal Daura.
The political will of Osinbajo to do the impossible earned him accolades and commendations from majority of Nigerians home and abroad. However, it did not go down well with the Aso Rock CABALS.

Little wonder when President Buhari went on subsequent medical tours there has never been any news of handing over to Osinbajo.
Could this be a matter of coincidence? Who is really in charge now that Buhari is on medical check-up in London?
THIS WAS OSINBAJO ON AUGUST 7, 2018:
“The unauthorized takeover of the NASS complex today is a gross violation of the rule of law and all acceptable notions of law and order.
Persons within the law enforcement apparatus who participated in this travesty will be identified and subjected to disciplinary action.
As a start, I have directed that the appointment of the DG of the DSS, Mr. Lawal Daura be terminated.
He has been directed to hand over to the most Senior Officer in the State Security Service.”
