We are in the toughest times where the toughest fights tooth and nail to make a living at all costs not minding whose ox is gored. They do not care the pains you and your entire family will go through. They wanted to reap where they do not sow.

She introduced herself as a Customer Service Officer (CSO) from the United Bank for Africa (UBA) from Marina, Lagos.
She was fluent in spoken English and hardly allowed me to respond to all the information she was dishing out to me when she started saying “do you understand” repeatedly.
She told me my name, date of my birth, she went as far to call out my Bank Verification Number (BVN) accurately. How she was able to get all my data especially my BVN is still a mystery.
As a former banker, I already knew her pranks that she was a scammer, a fraud.
I played along with all her tricks by giving out a false PIN numbers.

She started by calling all the information contained in my account and said the Federal Government wanted to credit my account with the sum of N45,000 as a palliative measure to cushion my pains on CORONA VIRUS.
All I need to do is to supply my Personal Identification Number (PIN) to activate it in order to credit my account immediately.
After wasting 10 minutes of her precious time I told her, “It shall not be well with her and her generations”, she replied ” You are a bastard.” and cut off the call.

The only information she was trying to get but could not was my ATM PIN, the bank where I operate my accounts and the number of accounts I have.
This is the latest tricks in vogue to scam unsuspecting and gullible public to empty their accounts.
If after reading my experience, you fall victim you will have yourself to blame for making yourself available for them to devour.
These scammers are desperate, just this morning another one called in the same manner but I didn’t give him a chance before I issued a curse on him.
ANOTHER CAUTION: If anyone called to inform you that you are invited to an ONLINE CONFERENCE because you are one of their members, be careful not to fall into their bait.
What they do to hack your number is change your password, this cannot be possible without sending a code to your registered phone number with WhatsApp. You need to give them the code to enable them change your password. Once you dictate the CODE WhatsApp or Facebook would send to your phone to them, they have succeeded in hacking your WhatsApp or Facebook Page, probably all your accounts.
They will continue to do nefarious activities in your accounts on your behalf.
If any scam is done through your phone number you will be held responsible by the law enforcement agents. If you are caught you may be liable to imprisonment for what you do not know anything about.
To avoid the embarrassment, do a second level password by following these steps:

And save, that’s all.
If someone wants to change it, WhatsApp will ask for the Two-step verification and without it the account won’t open.
Let’s be cautious and proactive against hackers.
A word is enough for the wise.
Editor’s Note: This was my personal experience narrated to all our fans not fall into the traps of these evil minded ‘son-of-the-bitch’ in these hard times.
