Over 25 Nigerians and Gambians Nationals are stranded in Tunisia Desert without water or food about 200 kilometers away from the City.

 

 

Thier plight was posted by one of the stranded victims on Social Media, he alleged that their boat was intercepted by the Tunisian National guards on Thursday, July 18, 2024 thereby seeking for rescue mission.

He wrote;

Hi Ebrima, we are 25 people of Gambia and some Nigerians. Our boat was intercepted by the Tunisian National guards last Thursday morning in the sea.

Since last Friday night they sent us in the middle of the desert on “No man’s land” while we were far from the city more than 200 kilometers away without food, water and some are still having handcuffs in their hands all these days we are afraid we might lose our lives here without help.”
