BREAKING: OBI finally speaks on lopsided LP Presidential Campaign Council list

PRESIDENTIAL Candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has finally reacted to the “wrong entries and omissions” in the just released Presidential Campaign Council.

In a message monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE Correspondent, Obi in his Official Facebook Page said all the supporters of Labour Party should exercise patience that “updated list will be issued in due course.”

“I’ve received several calls of concern following the release of the Labour Party’s Presidential Campaign Council list. Admittedly, there were some omissions and erroneous entries in the list, hence the concerns expressed.

In response, the Labour Party Chairman in the presence of members of the NWC addressed the issues during a press conference.

In keeping with our commitment to accountability, responsiveness and transparency, an updated list will be issued in due course. I plead for patience.

It will be recalled thar Labour Party released 1,234 Presidential Campaign Council for the next year’s Presidential election but the list was rejected by some aggrieved members of the party who complained that it was lopsided to favour the Southeast and the Christians.
