THE Student Union Government (SUG) of the Osun State Polytechnic, on Friday announced Monday 7, 2023 as resumption date after a faceoff between ASUP and the State Government over the removal of their Rector.
In a Press Release by the SUG Exco to student of the Institution available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, Investigative Committee has been established to examine the allegations levelled against the Rector.
“We are pleased to inform you that following a critical meeting between the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), the Governing Council, and the State Government, significant progress has been made in resolving the issues surrounding the suspension of the Rector and the closure of our institution.

An investigating committee has been established to thoroughly examine the allegations and queries levelled against the suspended Rector. This committee will ensure a fair and transparent investigation process.
We are excited to announce that you are to resume back to your academic activities on Monday 7th August,2023.
The adjustment to the academic calendar will be released after the ASUP congress meeting on Monday 7th August,2023.
The new date for the continuation of the DPT exams will be communicated to you on Monday 7th August, 2023 accordingly.
