LAGOS State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Sunday announced the inauguration of 12-member Special Dispensation ‘Palliative’ Advisory Committee Comprising Religious Leaders, Opposition Party Members and respected leaders in the Human Rights Societies.

“I am pleased to announce the inauguration of the Lagos State Special Dispensation ‘Palliative’ Advisory Committee, responsible for our welfare packages, dual-win feeding strategy, amongst other direct intervention initiatives.
Our committee, dedicated to transparency and merit, comprises members selected from major stakeholders groups across Lagos.
They include:
1) Imam Abdulazeez Onike, Chief Missioner of NASFAT;

2) Pastor Godman Akinlabi, Senior Pastor of Elevation Church;
3) Hon Seyi Sowunmi, LP Reps member;

6) Barrister Taofeeq Ganiu (Former PDP Pub Secretary);
7) Dr. Shina Fagbenro-Byron (LP Member, Former DFID official);
8) Hon. Ademola Shabi (Rep, LAHA);
9) Comrade Biliaminu Oba (Youth Representative);

That’s very nice of him. He had a good initiative. But the problem is the implementation of that initiative. Those appointed may use it as an avenue for them to grab their own dividend of democracy.
