The Ogun State Security Network  popularly known as Amotekun Commander, David Akinremi is dead.

 

 

SOJ WORLDWIDE reports that Akinremi succumbed to a prolonged illness on Monday evening.

 

 

Sources revealed that Akinremi had been battling with an undisclosed ailment for sometime before finally he finally gave up the ghost.

Akinremi, a retired Commissioner of Police, played a pivotal role in establishing Amotekun in 2021 when the corps was officially launched in Ogun State.

 

 

Soji Ganzallo, Commander of the State-owned So-Safe Corps, a sister security agency to Amotekun, confirmed Akinremi’s passing on Tuesday.

Ganzallo expressed deep sorrow and described the death of Akinremi as an unexpected and painful blow to the entire community.
