THE Osun State Police Command wishes to inform motorists that a Petrol Tanker was involved in an accident along Ilesa-Osogbo Highway at Ibodi Area, Osun State.

In a Press Release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Yemisi Opalola available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, she warned motorists to avoid going to the area for now in order to protect lives and properties.

“This is to inform the members of the public that, a tanker loaded with PMS (Premium Motor Spirit) popularly known as Petrol fell this morning at Ibodi Area, along Ilesa/Osogbo Road.

We are using this medium to advise/warn the members of the public not to go around that area either to watch or scoop any Petrol coming out, for their safety.

Meanwhile, Policemen and other relevant agencies have been fully deployed to the Area for security and safety of the people.”
