On Sunday morning, the Edo State Peoples Democratic Party addressed a Press Conference announcing the results of the just concluded governorship election ahead of the INEC official announcement.
The Governor of Adamawa, Ahmadu Fintiri made the announcement.
The INEC had said it will announce the collation of the results at 10.00am but in a dramatic turns of events, the PDP had announced what it said was the true results as announced by its party agents.
It will be recalled that the DIG of Police, Frank Mba, on Sunday morning ordered the Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki out of the INEC Collation Centre.
Obaseki at the Press Conference monitored by SOJ WORLDWIDE on Channels TV said he came to the Collation Centre to see the REC over complaints of rigging by the PDP Agents. He added that when he got to the center, nothing was going on, there was no collation going on. It was later the REC announced that the collation had been shifted to 10.00a.m on Sunday morning.
