The Katsina Police Command have arrested three women syndicate who supplied the bandits in the forest with petrol to fuel their operations.

The arrest was made in September 23, 2021.
The petrol was neatly concealed in traveling bags by the three women.
The police issued a terse statement about the arrests still under investigation.
“ARREST OF A SYNDICATE OF FUEL SUPPLIERS TO BANDITS. On the 23/9/2021 at about 0600hrs, the command succeeded in arresting the trio of one (1) Dija Umar, ‘f’, aged 50 years (2) Umma Bello, ‘f’, aged 45 years and (3) Nusaiba Muhammad, ‘f’, aged 16 years all of Malali Quarters, Katsina LGA, Katsina.

The fact of the case is, the syndicate was arrested by a team of Policemen on patrol along Katsina – Jibia road, concealing PMS in their travelling bags neatly, reasonably suspected to be supplies to the bandits hibernating in the fringes of Jibia forest. In the course of investigation, suspects confessed to the commission of the offense, contrary to the executive order and other extant laws of the Federation. Investigation ongoing.”
