Cameroon’s preparations for the upcoming FIFA Confederations Cup took a bit of a setback after a 4-0 defeat to Colombia in their final tune-up match before Russia 2017.
It proved a tough outing for the reigning CAF Africa Cup of Nations holders, with coach Hugo Broos making several changes from his usual first-choice starting line-up for Tuesday’s friendly.
The Indomitable Lions will now make their way to Moscow and prepare for their opening Confederations Cup Group B match against Copa America holders Chile at the Spartak Stadium on Sunday.
In a related development, the Nigeria’s Super Eagles suffered a home defeat of 2-0 to the visiting Bafana Bafana of South African in FIFA World Cup qualifying series on Saturday June 10, 2017.
