It was a terrifying scene on Saturday evening of October 26, 2019 seeing little kids going in groups begging for alms at the highest risks of their lives under the Iwo Road Round-About traffic gridlock in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Editor-in-Chief of SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS, Adesoji OMOSEBI was on his way to the State of Osun when he saw the little kids between the ages of 5-12 years manoeuvering between heavy trucks to beg for alms from car owners.

What could have caused this shameful display of risks to the lives of these kids? Where do they come from? Who are their parents? What is the state or Federal Government doing to save these ugly trend on a Federal Highway where the Oyo State is a partner?

These are the questions begging for answers.

SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS was on hand to record about 38 seconds video to tell those in power the level of poverty pervading Nigeria and the risks these kids go through for their daily bread.

This was at a time when insensitive Federal Minister of Agriculture said there was no poverty in Nigeria.
