Results of the election released so far in the Kwara Central Senatorial Districts, the Senate President Bukola Saraki is facing a defeat of a lifetime as the rival APC candidate, Dr Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe with a wide margin.

Oloriegbe has convincingly trounced Saraki in 40 out of 43 Wards released while nine units are still being awaited as at the time of filing this report.

The result from the 4 Local government is evidence of the “Otoge” slogan which signifies “Enough is Enough” as it is a landslide victory across all the 4 LGAs. Reaction from the Ilorin environs indicates that the people are ready to secure their vote and won’t allow any manipulation or change of their choice.

It remains to be seen what the next plan of the incumbent senator Bukola Saraki will be as the masses are already in celebration mood and are ready to ensure that their mandate is been met.

Summary of the Kwara Central Senatorial Election from the 4 LGAs based on the results from 43/52 wards is as follow;

ASA LGA: 17 Wards

APC: 12,970 (12wards)

PDP: 9,141 (2wards)

ILORIN EAST: 12 Wards

APC: 20,703 (8wards)
