Having not impressed under former boss, Antonio Conte at Chelsea last season, New boss Maurizo Sarri has decided to send Chelsea midfielder and French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko on a season-long loan move to AC Milan, according to reports.
The 23-year-old French international arrived in the Lombardy capital this afternoon for the first part of his check-up which has gone smoothly as reported by Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
Bakayoko joined the Blues from French champions Monaco last season but endured a difficult first campaign at Stamford Bridge – featuring no fewer than 43 occasions for the Blues registering three goals and three assists – under former boss Antonio Conte.

Since the arrival of his successor Maurizio Sarri he’s fallen down the pecking order with Chelsea bolstering their midfield options by recruiting Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic (albeit on loan) from Napoli and Real Madrid respectively.

Bakayoko’s acquisition will be the eighth made by Milan ahead of their forthcoming Serie A season with Gonzalo HiguaÃn’s arrival from Juventus being the most high profile.
Under club legend Gennaro Gattuso the Rossoneri finished sixth last season and they begin their 2018/19 campaign at home against Genoa on August 19.
