The former House of Representatives member, the Chairman of Oodua FM (90.9 FM), Ile-Ife, Hon. Rotimi Makinde has described the former governor of Osun State and the first Interim National Chairman of APC, Chief Abdulkareem Adebisi Akande as forthright and a role model.
Hon. Makinde made this statement while felicitating with Baba Akande on his 79th birthday at Ila-Orangun, in Osun State.
He described Chief Akande as one the brightest and very forthright person that ever come from this part of this world.

Hon. Makinde went further, “Baba Akande’s life is so enviable: Apart from his high sense of responsibility coupled with his sound human relations and his modest way of life, Baba is such an amiable personality with high integrity, his longevity of life and rising profile is enviable.â€
While still eulogising the Chief Bisi Akande popularly referred to as “Baba Omo Kekeeke†he said, “In fact, everything about Baba Akande’s way of life is highly commendable.

Chief AbdulKareem Adebisi Akande is perhaps one of the last men standing with such a great yet simple right attitude of life which is exemplary and certainly with references.
