THERE was confusion at the Osun State Polytechnic, Iree on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 as the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic (ASUP) suspended all academic activities as a result of the sack of the Rector of the Institution, Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo.
The Rector was replaced with another Rector, Mr. ALABI Kehinde Adeyemi by the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke.
As at the time of filing this report, the school gate was shut against students sitting for their semester exams.

The suspension of activities according to the leadership of ASUP is indefinite.
