The following talked about marital turbulence:

With the dawn of a new decade and many making plans for a better future, the Kogi State-born Motunrayo decided it was time for her to meet her creator in a more brutal way as she looked forward to reuniting with her immediate family in the afterlife. She went to Oba Abbas Aleshinloye Grammar School in Ibadan. She also resides in Ibadan with yet parents except during school periods and service.

According to a female corps member, Bolufemi became depressed and devastated because of her parent’s disapproval of the man she wished to marry.

Me : There is something wrong somewhere

This version by Yosef Olubiyo is more deepening:

Still on the suicide of corps member Bolufemi Motunrayo Yetunde. I took my time to investigate this ‘purported’ suicide. After critically examining and diligently scrutinizing the suicide note, I came to the conclusion that it was a clear case of murder and not suicide as we were made to believe.

Albeit, we posted the sad incident because it was sudden and fresh but after thorough scrutiny and examination I conducted on the said suicide letter, I was convinced that she was murdered by some agents of the devil. I got enraged at some people who in their comments assumed the position of God by asserting this innocent girl is going to hellfire. Hasty conclusion! What gave you the conviction that she truly killed herself? I was told that she was a devoted Christian and a very calm and easy-going girl. Here are some of the things I discovered from the suicide letter:

1. The signature on the letter wasn’t hers. Anyone who’s intelligent enough will know that the signature was forged. Don’t take a cursory look but take a critical look at the way the signature was appended. It began with “Ad”. And the girl’s name was Bolufemi Yetunde Motunrayo, so how come her signature started with “Ad”. Again, the signature was sketched. Without being conceited, the signature wasn’t hers.

2. She couldn’t have just said this life isn’t worth living without stating the rationale behind her statement. This was a girl who went to the university and graduated and was serving until her life was brought to an abrupt end by some people. If she had been looking for a job for years without getting one, that could trigger or lead to suicide which I call depression and frustration. But nothing of such.

3. The LGI and ZI in Enugu where she served should be approached by the law enforcement officers to check the clearance list of corps members. They can check the real signature of the girl and her handwriting most especially the ones written in block letters to ascertain if the suicide note was actually written by her.

4. How could someone commit suicide with two cups/bottles of snipers with the Holy Bible widely opened? A forensic test should be done on the suicide note and fingerprints on the snipers.

I urge our security agencies to swing into action by getting to the root of this case. It shouldn’t be swept under the carpet because I strongly believe that she was murdered, albeit we are yet to know the rationale behind the murder.

In fact, we need highly intelligent officers to investigate this case. There’s more to this than meet the eye. Definitely, something is fishy about this whole thing. This is really confusing.

Rest in peace Motunrayo. May your killers never know peace. #sobs
