Court orders reinstatement of sacked Ekiti varsity workers

The Court of Appeal, sitting in Ado-Ekiti, on Monday ordered the immediate reinstatement of workers of Ekiti State University sacked by Governor Kayode Fayemi, in December 2019.

The Defendant which is the School Management, however took the matter to Appeal Court urging it to set aside the decision of the Industrial Court, but was met with the same decision which upholds the earlier ruling.

The court also ordered payment of their salaries from the day they were sacked till date.
