On the 17th of January 2021, 1,444 new confirmed cases and 15 deaths were recorded in Nigeria.

Till date, 110,387 cases have been confirmed, 89,317 cases have been discharged and 1435 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
