COVID-19: Nigerian Govs Forum Proposes Total Lockdown To FG To Avert Further Spread Of Disease

The governors under the banner of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) has proposed to the Federal Government to declare a 14 day lockdown to prevent further spread of CORONA VIRUS (COVID-19).

The Chairman of the Governors Forum who is also the Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi said the interstate lockdown is necessary to curb further spread of the dreaded disease.

New committee with the State Commissioners for Health is to be set up to fashion out modalities for the new initiative.
