A non-governmental body, DONAMEE Skills Palace based in Osogbo, Osun State has trained close to 150 students on skill acquisition to prepare them for self sufficiency in the nearest future.

DONAMEE has helped to train students on liquid soap, Ankara fascinator, Crilonine fascinator and broaches in which over 150 students have been empowered.

 

The MD/CEO of the DONAMEE Skills Palace, Mrs Akinwumi Beatrice said the NGO begins its official operation in 2020 to bring hopes to lives by promoting creativity in young adults thereby promoting their independence.

She said during this period they have done liquid soap training for students in Imo state, training on fascinator for females and broach for males in Lagos State.

 

They have learnt this skills and applying them in their daily lives and they are making money from it. Also we taught them life skills i.e how to manage time and live life with the right mindset.”

The latest training was held at Destiny Builders School, Ataoja, Osogbo Osun state on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
