THE overall UTME 2023 best student, Miss Kamsiyochukwu Precious Umeh was on Sunday, July 30, 2023 presented with a cheque of N150,000 for her excellent performance by the JOURNALISTS HANGOUT headed by Babajide Kolade-Otitoju.
The veteran Journalist and Public Analyst, Babajide Kolade-Otitoju in his official Facebook Page available to SOJ WORLDWIDE, said the initial promise for Precious was N100,000 but had to increase it to N150,000 for her brilliance.

During the controversy generated by one Mmeseoma, who tried unsuccessfully to con the rest of Nigeria that she got the highest score in this year’s JAMB-organised UTME we told Nigerians that the real winner, Kamsiyochukwu Precious Umeh deserved to be celebrated, having scored 360 marks in the examination.

I promised a monetary gift of one hundred thousand naira on behalf of Journalists Hangout to Kamsiyochukwu, the real Most Valuable Player, (MVP) in the examination. We couldn’t present her with the gift before now because she had been writing NECO and post-UTME and we didn’t want to distract her.
However, on Sunday the 30th of July, 2023, Kamsiyochukwu’s dad, Uzonna, led her and other members of his young family to TVC Communications to receive her cheque. They came in just after that day’s episode of Journalists Hangout had been put to bed.
Unknown to them I had increased the reward to one hundred and fifty thousand naira.

Umeh Kamsiyochukwu Precious is a child of grace, extremely brilliant and confident, the epitome of solid upbringing. We at JOURNALISTS HANGOUT rejoice with her for making her parents and Anambra state proud.
The presentation ceremony will be aired on Journalists Hangout today (Monday) the 31st of July 2023.
