Dapo Lam-Adesina, three other House of Representatives members defected from the ruling party (APC) on Tuesday to join other parties.
The lawmakers, Dada Awoleye (Oyo), Segun Williams (Ogun), Lawali Hassan and Dapo Lam-Adesina (Oyo), announced their defections on Tuesday.
Important information for all JAMB candidates
While Mr Awoleye defected to the Accord party, Messrs Williams, Hassan and Lam-Adesina defected to Labour Party (LP), People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Action Democratic Congress (ADC), respectively.
More members of the ruling party have defected in the last one month.
Some members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party have also defected within the period.
Dapo Lam-Adesina must have been frustrated out of the ruling party by the governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. The duo parted ways few months ago which made Dapo protesting maltreatment of Governor Ajimobi to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
