Dino Melaye, the Collation Agent of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP  including Labour Party Collation Agents and others are protesting the process of collation and announcement of results in Abuja.

The former lawmaker is challenging all the results presented by the various State Collation Officers.

He wants the results presented at the polling units displayed on the INEC website for comparison with the ones presented by the state’s collation officers.

INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, who tried to calm him down said, “Dino, you are now deliberately being obstructive.”.

Unconfirmed report said PDP is heading to court to stop further announcement of the results.

30 years ago, June 23, 1993 under President Ibrahim Babangida, Association for Better Nigeria (ABN) under Chief Authur Nzeribe and Abimbola Davies scuttled the election of MKO Abiola as President of Federal Republic of Nigeria at the 11th hour.

Abiola was arrested by General Sani Abacha after he declared himself President at Epetedo, Lagos. He never came back alive!

Time Will tell if history will repeat itself using Senator Dino Melaye to scuttle the 2023 Presidential election or not.
