Bashir Dan-Malam, the Zonal Chairman of the association, made the commendation while inspecting the distribution of petroleum products at the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) Depot, on Friday in Kano.

It also reduced the price of kerosene, Dual Purpose Kerosene (DPK) from N185 to N160 per litre.

Dan-Malam described the gesture as a welcome development, saying it is geared to alleviate the sufferings of Nigerians due to the lockdown occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic.

He added that the gesture would go a long way to push down prices of commodities and essential services during the Easter celebrations.
