Dr. Adeleke Resigns from APC

Dr. Demola Adeleke tender his Letter of Resignation Tuesday June 13, 2017 to withdraw his candidature in the ongoing APC primaries election process for the bye-election for Osun West Senatorial District in the State of Osun.

In his letter of withdrawal of his candidature presented to SOJWORLDWIDE, he said; “…I am constrained to take this decision due to the obvious manipulations and interference by political godfathers and power brokers that created the cloudy and controversial circumstances that led to the mysterious “re-qualification”of a candidate that was disqualified at two levels of the party screening process.”

He went further that; “Equally important and unacceptable is the fact that the Party has chosen to conduct the primaries in Osogbo instead of Iwo, the Senatorial District Headquarters thereby exposing the process to potential nullification.
From the foregoing actions which contradicts the party’s own rules and regulations as well its aims and objectives, my supporters and I are no longer confident of the integrity of this election process. A manipulated process can only lead to a manipulated outcome.
I, in the same vein hereby resign my membership of the All Progressives Congress.”
Signed: Otunba Ademola N. Adeleke
