The vocal and erstwhile member of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Dr. Doyin Okupe who has vowed not to leave his party has finally dumped same party today, Sunday, July 2, 2017.
Okupe was the Senior Special Assistant on Public Affairs to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
In his hey days, Okupe was a controversial member in PDP who compared the former President GoodLuck Jonathan to our Lord Jesus Christ in order to convince and confuse the electorates to vote for his candidate.
His candidate finally fell to the machine power of a movement in favour of APC candidate, Muhammadu Buhari who had over 15 million votes to Goodluck Jonathan who had 12 million votes.
