Ekiti will not surrender its land for Cattle Colony – Gov. Ayo Fayose

The Ekiti State governor, Ayodele Fayose told the federal government in clear terms that Ekiti State will not surrender its land for Cattle Colony.
He said this in his official Twitter page that it was wrong for the federal government to create cattle colonies for herdsmen in the country.

He said;”I don’t have anything against the Fulanis & the herdsmen among them. But let me state it expressly that Ekiti will not surrender its land for cattle colony. Cattle farming is a business and it is the duty of business owners to get tools. Does government build ponds for fish farmers?
