The Oluomo, Elemo Aga of Ikirunland, High Chief, Bamidele Onifade whose father, Imam Sodiq Onifade died on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the age of 82 celebrated the 8th Day Fidau yesterday in a grand style with top celebrities in the theatre and music industry.
The program started with prayers from the members of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikirun Chapter followed by a powerful lecture by a great Islamic Scholar, Alhaji Kamilu Jamiu who told the mammoth crowd at the event how Imam Onifade started in Ekiti and raised up his children to become important personalities in the society today.
The venue, Bunke prayer ground opposite Coker Grammar School was filled with important dignitaries within and outside Osun State and Diaspora.
The venue was filled with Royal Fathers, Akirun of Ikirunland, HRH Oba Rauf Olayiwola Olawale, Aragbiji of Iragbiji, HRH Oba Rasheed Ayo Olabomi, Olokuku of Okuku, HRH Oba Samuel Abioye Oyebode, celebrities like, Richardo, Elesho, Omo baba Saudi, Sabaika, Queen, Asiko mi Tito, EDT, Obesere, Afusat and a host of others made the event exciting and lively.
The program that started at 9.00am did not end until 7.30pm after Obesere popularly known as ‘Omo Rapala’ entertained the guests for over two hours. This was after other guest artists mounted the stage one after the other.

Chief Bamidele Al-Maroof Onifade is the first son of late Imam Sodiq Onifade, he is a music and Nollywood promoter who has singularly raised many talented artists to become celebrities today.
