#ENDBADGOVERNANCE PROTESTS: OSUN Amotekun Commander, Omoyele Promises Adequate Security

As the #EndBadGovernance Protests Began on Monday Nationwide, the Corps Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Dr. Hon. Adekunle Omoyele has assured the residents of Osun State of Adequate security of lives and properties.

 

Omoyele made the assurance on Wednesday, August 2, 2024 during an interview with journalists at the Amotekun Headquarters, Osogbo.

 

He urged the residents of the State not to panic as the youths nationwide will be protesting against the hardship experienced in Nigeria.

He said the Governor of the state, Sen. Asiwaju Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, and all the Security Chiefs in the State had met with all the concerned youths and stakeholders to make the protest peaceful with no chaos or violence in the state. While the concerned youths have assured the Governor and the Security Chiefs that the protest will be peaceful.

He assured the residents of the State that the Amotekun operatives were on standby if there is any breakdown of laws and order in any area of the state.

 

He also advised the residents of the state to call the attention of the Amotekun and other security agencies if there’s any security breach in their environment.
