Estate Residents Nab Young Boy, Beat Him Mercilessly After Stealing Generator Set and Fan (SEE PHOTOS)

The young man whose identity was not revealed was said to have successfully stolen a fan and generator set in one of the houses within the Estate.

 

 

 

The lone armed robber who carried out his operation in Ifedayo Estate, Alagbole area of Ojodu Lagos met a waterloo after attempting to escape with an already stolen generator set on Saturday, 14th January, 2023.

 

 

 

The suspect had once been arrested for a similar crime by Police officers attached to Ajuwon Police Division and was transferred to Kirikiri maximum prison.

According to the youths in the area who apprehended him on Saturday morning, the suspect had entered the targeted house and successfully stole a generator set and standing fan.

He was said to have sold the fan to another person within the area immediately after he successfully carried out the operation.

He was however caught by the area youths while trying to get away with the generator set. Following his arrest, he was mercilessly beaten by both his father and the youths before the community chairman came to his rescue and stopped the youths from beating him further.

Speaking and beating him at the same time, the suspect father revealed that he had once stolen an iron where he was working which consequently landed him in the Maximum Security prison where just came from. The disappointed father promised to facilitate his son’s return to jail.

He was consequently taken to the police station for proper arrest, investigation and prosecution.
