The Chairman of PDP Governors Forum, Mr Ayo Fayose, has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari on his return from medical leave in London.Fayose, who also congratulated the APC for the return of Buhari, urged the president to set out to work and face governance squarely to deliver the gains of democracy to the people.
He stated this in a brief chat with journalists shortly after a meeting with some PDP governors at the Asaba International Airport, on their way to Anambra State ahead of the party’s gubernatorial primaries.
Fayose said Nigerians were hungry not only for food, but for development.
“We are happy that President Buhari is back; it is a welcome development but Nigerians are hungry, they need food, they need development.
“We, in PDP, know what is right for Nigerians; democracy is strengthened by opposition. APC should face governance squarely and give Nigerians democratic dividends,” he said.
