Former Premier League champions, Chelsea have been banned for four transfer windows ahead of their Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur on November 24.
According to reports, the Blues are hit with two-year transfer ban after breaking FIFA rules over the signing of fourteen youth players illegally.
The report claimed that a judgement from FIFA’s Integrity and Compliance has recommended that the Stamford Bridge club be banned for four transfer windows.
The report added that the world football governing body have been investigating the Blues’ recruitment of underage players since it was revealed that former Chelsea youngster, Bertrand Traore was signed before his 18th birthday back in 2014.
Meanwhile, Chelsea had insisted that they did not break any FIFA rules.
“The club has fully cooperated with FIFA and has provided comprehensive evidence demonstrating its compliance with the applicable FIFA regulations,†The West London club told Press Association Sport, PAS.

Chelsea currently sits on third positions on the Premier League table with 28 points from 12 games.
