Another student who confided to SOJ WORLDWIDE ONLINE NEWS said that was not the first time Federal Poly Ede students would attempt to commit suicide in the school. She said it was rampant in the campus, although not known to the public.

She narrated how some Lecturers derived joy in failing ladies who refused to date them. She said new candidates refused to come to the school because of the attitude of some lecturers to the ladies.

“I had a personal experience where a Lecturer requested I go out with him which I refused. The end result of my refusal to play along with him made me have a reference, only, in his subject, out of all the subjects I sat for in the First Semester. This was a subject I scored 30 marks in the Class Test and now scored less than 5 marks in the exam. How can that be possible that I scored less than 5 marks in the exam I prepared for? That is what some of our ladies are experiencing in Ede Poly”

“you might not get the score you expected here because of the marking scheme, is tough.”
