In couples of days, the era of some rulers shall come to an end.
It shall become a history that the likes of Sen Ibikunle Amosun served as a governor of Ogun state just like many others who are today being addressed as ex-President, ex-Governor, ex-Senator, ex-Representatives etc.
What however baffles me is how Sen Amosun will be feeling at each time he thinks of how he rendered some people homeless paralyzed some businesses, maimed and caused deaths of many people in the name of development which ended up as abandoned projects especially at this fasting month.
“When you make a vow to the LORD your God, you shall not delay to pay it, for it would be a sin in you, and the LORD your God will surely require it of you. “However, if you refrain from vowing, it would not be sin in you. “You shall be careful to perform what goes out from your lips, just as you have voluntarily vowed to the LORD your God, what you have promised.”
Each day I remember how I witnessed and heard it directly from the governor making an open vow to compensate those whose houses and business structures were pulled down along Akute Alagbole axis and extended to several areas my heart bleed towards him despite the fact that I am one of his die-hard admirers.
To see how many people talked negative of him, gnashing of teeth and raining and casting aspersion on him thereby making nonsense of his good intention which is not well planned, I felt sorry for him.

Gov Ibikunle Amosun, of course, is someone many of us have the utmost respect for, love his political sagacity not only as a leader in APC but to be candid, on this unfulfilled promises, he goofed.
I honestly wonder if he will be qualified to be anybody’s mentor from May 29.
