Governor of Benue State, Samuel Ortom is visibly angry over killings of his people taking refuge in the IDPs after they have been displaced by the Fulani Herdsmen from their land.

In a recent video where the residents of the state were protesting over the incessant Killings of over 70 people in the IDP camps in the past two weeks,
Ortom told President Muhammadu Buhari to wake up to his responsibilities and arrest the situation in Benue and order the arrest the leadership of the Miyetti Allah who gathered the Fulanis from 14 countries to make peace impossible in Benue State over the prohibition of Open Grazing in the state.

He also called on the Federal Government to declare emergency on security in Nigeria.
