The Governor of the State of Osun, Gboyega Oyetola has tasked religious leaders to build good moral behaviors in the youths as part of their social responsibilities to end social vices and youth restiveness in the society
YOUTHS: Governor Oyetola gave the charge on Sunday at the inauguration of Imesi-Ile diocese of Methodist Church of Nigeria and the enthronement of the RT. Rev. Rufus Oluwasegun Atolaye as Bishop of Imesi-Ile and presentation of Evangelist Edward Bababunmi as Diocesan lay president of Imesi-Ile.

He emphasised the need for people to continue to embrace the good virtues of “Omoluabi” ethos as a better way of living.
Governor Oyetola who was represented by his deputy Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi appreciated the Church of God and the religious leaders in the State for their prayers and support at all time.
According to him, this has contributed immensely to the peaceful coexistence, development and stability of the state as Osun remain one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria.
While congratulating the church for the growth, Governor Oyetola enjoined the adherents of faith to continue to embrace harmonious relationship and tolerate one and other in the interest of peace and progress.
He assured that his Government will remain focused to continue to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive and to encourage investors into the state.
He added: “as a church, there is a need to build a good behavior among our youths”.

We will remain focused to create an enabling environment to ensure that businesses of our people thrive and bring investors into the state.
