Managing Director, GTBank received condemnation for assaulting staff – SEE VIDEO

The Managing Director of Guaranty Trust Bank, Liberia, Mr. Ayodeji Bejide showed the stuff he was made of when he assaulted co-staff, Mr. Edward Freeman

Mr. Bejide was said to be too temperamental, this was the stuff he showed in far away Liberia when he threw a calculator at a junior colleague.

In the video that had gone viral, he was heard apologizing after the deed had been done.  One could see blood from the mouth of Freeman and heard him protesting. Mr. Freeman then walks out of the office of Mr. Bejide at the end of the video.

Mr. Freeman said that, for now he couldn’t speak on the issue as he is seeking legal redress.

Many persons who commented on the video posted on Gbana TV Facebook Page expressed serious anger at the ordeal.

They said, Nigerian employers are often aggressive toward Liberians employees and speak to them in any manner and faction.

Few former employees who spoke on condition of anonymity said, Bejide is known for verbal assaults.

A female employee told our correspondent that she resigned because of his behavior, especially toward female staffer She said, the GT Bank MD talks down on employees and Senior Staffers like they are his kids, and address them in any manner.

Personal friends of Freeman said they were very surprised that anyone would attack him because of his humility and quietness.
